Science FUNday - Saturday, March 23, 2013
Time: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Location: Centennial Centre for Interdisciplinary Science Building (CCIS) on the University of Alberta Campus
FUNday is an annual science exhibition directed towards students in Grades 2 to 6 and their families. This event is designed to promote early science education through a variety of hands on experiments, volunteer run demonstrations, and presentations by special guests from the University of Alberta who are experts in their fields. This year's demonstrations include dry ice bubbles, liquid nitrogen, burning ions, and glow in the dark experiments! This is a FREE event that gives students an opportunity to experience and learn about science through over 30 exciting experiments throughout a fun filled day.
Last year was a great success with over 700 attendees. We hope to surpass this level of excellence this year!
